The Central Texas Men's Conference, which is now in its 25th year, is TBC's biggest men's event of the year.  Come join over three hundred men who will gather at Camp Tejas in Giddings, Texas January 27-29, 2012 for this life changing weekend.

Camp Tejas is a great facility for a men's conference offering activities for everyone.  They include disc golf, a zip line, a climbing wall, basketball, fishing, skeet shooting, dominos, and a game room.  The food is fantastic as well.  But the two best things about the weekend are great Bible teaching and time with great friends...both old ones and new ones!

Tim Shoemaker is a full time speaker and author who travels around the country talking to men’s and parent's groups about living the Christian life in a way that impacts the next generation. His passion is to see men become what a Christian man should be in all the various aspects of his life.

Tim is well known for using a variety of object lessons to help teach men biblical truth, including electrocuting a pickle, creating a -100 degree solution for fast-freezing, and converting a leaf blower to shoot toilet paper.

Tim lives in the greater Chicago area and has been happily married to his wife Cheryl for more than 31 years. They have three grown sons. Tim is also actively involved in leadership in his local church.

He is the author of 8 books, including Smashed Tomatoes, Bottle Rockets and Other Outdoor Devotionals You Can Do With Your Kids, Dangerous Devotions for Guys, and the upcoming Code of Silence: Living a Lie Comes With a Price (release spring 2012)
